Join Jackie Tomlin and Central Virginia Psychic Development & Paranormal Research, this Saturday
May 26th, at 4:00PM at Midlothian Mines Park.
Midlothian Mines Park is owned and operated by Chesterfield County’s Parks & Recreation. The park
is located at 13301 North Woolridge Road, Midlothian, Virginia.
From Jackie Tomlin, “This is a very “Rustic” park.” “There are no playgrounds, picnic tables or
restrooms. The mine is approximately 1/3 of a mile down a trail.” “They have been fenced off by
Chesterfield County, but you may walk all around them.” “The trials are paved; gravel and some are
rustic with a lot of roots, so wear appropriate shoes.”
Due to the temperature, you may also want to bring a water bottle. If you are running late, you will
find Jackie on the first paved trail behind that Parks & Recreation sign. (There are several trails off of
the parking lot.)
From Jackie Tomlin, “CVAPI has visited the mines before.” “We have had many reports from the
houses located near the mines, and some we could confirm activity.” “Central Virginia Psychic
Development & Paranormal Research last visited the park in 2008.” “This produced a couple of nice
EVP’s as well as some interesting photography.” “If you enjoy local history, and don’t mind walking,
then please come and join us!”
From Jackie, “The first commercially mined coal in the United States came from these mines in
Midlothian, Virginia.” “The miners that came from Scotland, were from East Lothian, and West
Lothian, giving the name to this venture….”Midlothian.”
In the event of rain, this will be rescheduled to Sunday May 26th at 4:00PM. If you are unable to
